We met while attending Southeastern Louisiana University for our undergraduate degrees. We dated for 3 years in which the last year and half was long distance. After I graduated in December 2018, he invited me to Dallas for New Years. We went to a New Years countdown party at Texas Live, and he proposed when the clock struck midnight with fireworks lighting up the background.
