'This is how our love story begins.... Shawn and I are both born and raised in the small town of Rock Springs, Wyoming and just like any small town, everyone knows everyone. Shawn's aunt worked at a popular local restaurant with my grandma and mother. Shawn was best friends with my cousin growing up and our families are intertwined by marriage. Go figure, with us both being from a small town, and no, Shawn and I are not related! One summer evening Shawn was having dinner at a family get together and both of our families came up with this BIG plan to set Shawn and I up on a blind date and after some convincing from my family, I went on that blind date and Shawn and I immediately clicked. We dated for a few months and unfortunately it was not the right time for us. Two years later, we found each other once again and Shawn proposed to me on Christmas 2015 and the rest is history!!' -Shawn and Lacey
