Hoyt and Melanie met each other in grade school in 2003 where their friendship began. In July 2006 their friendship blossomed into a new kind of love. The two have been together ever since. On Christmas Eve 2009 Hoyt proposed to Melanie and after a long 4 year engagement they finally wed on September 27, 2013.
